South Korea's renowned startup pitch competition, D.Day, celebrated its second global demo day last week, with Singapore-based dConstruct Robotics emerging as the global winner. The event, organized by D.Camp, the largest foundation for entrepreneurship in Korea funded by 20 members of the Korean Federation of Banks attracted 120 startups from around the world, narrowing down to eight finalists who showcased their innovations in Seoul on 23 February 2023.


With finalists from the US, Hong Kong, and Japan, D.Day X Global League remains a key platform for global innovation and collaboration. The competition's diverse representation highlights its role in fostering cross-cultural exchange and advancements in entrepreneurship and technology.


South Korea's renowned startup pitch competition, D.Day, concluded its second global demo day, marking a significant milestone in the world of innovation. The event, orchestrated by D.Camp, the largest foundation for entrepreneurship in Korea, generously funded by 20 members of the Korean Federation of Banks, witnessed Singapore-based dConstruct Robotics claiming the title of global winner. Attracting a staggering 120 startups from diverse corners of the globe, the competition meticulously selected eight finalists who presented their groundbreaking innovations in the vibrant city of Seoul, South Korea.


Led by our Chief Technology Officer Jiayi Chong, dConstruct Robotics secured the top spot in the overseas category with our revolutionary mobile mapping device d.ASH pack. This simultaneous localization and mapping program technology in robotics to identify their precise location and gather real-time data about their environment, optimizing their movements. Winning this accolade not only underscores the global appeal of our robotics applications but also signals a growing interest from foreign startups to enter the dynamic Korean market.


We are proud to have partnered with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) under the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information, further facilitating our global push. This victory not only validates the excellence of our technology but also positions dConstruct Robotics as a key player in the ever-evolving landscape of robotics innovation.
